Thank you for your interest in our catering services. We look forward to being a part of your event. The following information will be helpful in planning your function.
Before placing your order, be sure to reserve the space you want to hold the catering event in EMS or with Facilities (717) 867-6343. Please remember to request all table, garbage can and air conditioning needs with them at this time.
To allow the best possible service, please allow 5 business days whenever possible, particularly for larger events. We will accommodate last minute requests whenever possible.
All food and beverage must be supplied by the Lebanon Valley College Catering department due to strict health code regulations. If you are requesting a food truck, you must get authorization from the Vice President of Student Affairs in advance of the event.
We request a guaranteed number of attendees and final arrangements 72-hours prior to any event. Catering charges will be based on the guaranteed number of guests or the actual number of guests in attendance, whichever is greater.
Please give a minimum of 48-hours’ notice of the event date or you will be charged 100% of the event.
We provide basic biodegradable service ware for all full-service events at no charge. Upscale scroll ware is available for an additional $2.00 per person. In-house china is available at an additional $4.00 per person. Rentals for china, cutlery and glassware are available at additional cost depending on your needs, and the full invoice will be charged back to your event plus a handling fee.
Perishable foods with sensitive temperature holding will be picked up within a safe time frame. Sensitive foods cannot be left on display for prolonged periods. If you request to keep uneaten food, you must sign a waiver accepting responsibility for proper storage.
Special diets will always be accommodated upon request. Please give a minimum 48-hours’ notice of special dietary restrictions.
You can modify your order on the catering website up to the order lead time for that menu. After that time, modifications must be called in to the catering department.
We reserve the right to vary menu selections when necessary to meet market conditions.
All catered payments will be billed at the conclusion of your event. A copy of the billing will be sent to you via email and can also be printed from your profile. Payment is due 30 days from billing.
Only LVC Catering RAMP/TIPS certified servers are permitted to serve alcoholic beverages. Proper identification is required. Service will cease for anyone visibly intoxicated or behaving improperly, and they must leave the premises upon request of Dining Services Staff. Dining Services is authorized to enforce these rules, including use of campus security.
Menu items can be dropped off by the Catering Department or picked up in Mund. This is not a full-service option. Food is in disposable pans with disposable utensils, plates and cutlery. It does not include chafers, sterno or linens. These items may be added through additional catering services.
Floral arrangements are available by request and at an additional charge.
Service staff is included for setup and breakdown. Service staff and bartenders are available during the event upon request at $25.00 per hour with a minimum of four hours.
Linens for food and beverage tables are provided at no additional charge when ordering off the full-service menu. Linens for guest seating or registration tables are available upon request at an additional charge per linen.
